Like most of the rest of the country Pueblo is struggling with the real estate market. 

New contruction on Single Family homes was down -44.6% from last year. 

New construction permits issued by area for 2007:  

  • Pueblo West 51%
  • Colo City and Rye 5%
  • Mesa 4%.

Permits by Builder for 2007:  

  • Premier Homes pulled 74 permits
  • Owner builders 69 permits
  • Family Home 41 permits
  • Cowan Concept 23 permits
  • Pioneer West 22 permits
  • Mid-West 21 permits
  • Oakwood 17 permits
  • Gem 13 permits

  • Legacy homes 11 permits
