At a recent real estate agents tour of homes in Canon City one seller took advantage of having so many agents in her house. She served coffee and these tiny cupcakes. The house it self was beautiful and showed great. But those little cupcakes slowed the agents down, gave the seller time to answer questions and to make a ‘sweet’ impression!
There is lots and lots of advice on how to show your property off to it’s full advantage. Staging is a great start, sometimes paying somebody to come in to clean the house or spruce the yard up is a good idea too. But once you have a potential buyer or their agent in the house slow them down. Statistics say that for every 30 minutes somebody is at a property it doubles the odds that they will buy it.
