Lake Pueblo and Reservoir State Park

Visitors to Southern Colorado are often surprised to see Pueblo Lake from Liberty  Point, approx. 5 miles West of I 25.

The large lake can be seen from Liberty Point and then your  eye wonders over a hundred of miles in every direction. The large homes that sit on the edge of the bluffs are impressive by themselves. But once you see Pikes Peak, the Wet Mountains, the Green Horns and the Spanish Peaks you’ll want to grab your camera and start snapping.

During the warmer months you can swim, fish and boat on the lake. It’s a great place to take visitors, they are always surprised to see this huge body of water in what is otherwise a dry area.

The history of the area is long and interesting. The towns of Swallows and Turkey Creek were once the dominate towns. Now the area brings local visitors from Pueblo, Pueblo West, Colorado Springs, Canon City and beyond.

The Fair Housing Act is a federal act in the United States intended to protect the buyer or renter of a dwelling from seller or landlord discrimination. Its primary prohibition makes it unlawful to refuse to sell, rent to, or negotiate with any person because of that person’s inclusion in a protected class.
