Few people have ever heard of Locke Mountain Ranch in Fremont County Colorado. Even the nearest neighbors don’t explore the area. Well off the beaten path, Locke Mountain Ranch is a  hidden surprise. South of Canon City, South West of Florence (Antique Capital of Colorado) the main way up is to take the roads out from Williamsburg, Coal Creek and Rockvale. The North Side entrance offers miles and miles of views to the East toward Pueblo, in some places you can see Pueblo Reservoir. The South entrance is easily missed, surrounded by pinion, pine and other indigenous trees. Locke Mountain Ranches is tucked up against the Wet Mountain Range.


Land parcels range from 35 acres up to 50+ acres. Only partially built up, Locke Mountain has many custom homes, many are off grid. Living on Locke Mountain requires a sense of independence and possible ingenuity. At least 1/2 hour from town, residence of the Mountain prepare to enjoy the isolation the mountain offers. Back up generators, bottled water and food are a good idea for the rare heavy snow. The HOA provides road maintenance however residence should be prepared to get snowed in on rare occasion.
