More This is Hatchet Ranch, Pueblo CO

Every time I go to Hatchet Ranch just South of Pueblo I truly enjoy myself. Even today it was 100+ degrees before the clouds rolled in and I enjoyed myself.  I look forward to going, taking pictures and seeing what I can see. I’ve  been on the Ranch in the middle of the night and the moon was huge! One day it was raining and the clouds were rolling, totally magical. While showing land one day to a buyer the antelope posed for pictures. And while I’m not crazy about hawks it’s fun to watch them hunt.

Only 1/2 hour away from Pueblo, it’s an easy trip to either exit 83 or exit 77. Let’s face it many, many people travel 1/2 as far in twice the time during drive time in Pueblo West. And what do the Pueblo or Pueblo West commuters see – the bumper in front of them usually.

So, if you’ve ever traveled I-25 and wondered what was beyond those Hatchet Ranch entrance signs I hope you’ll take the time one day soon to go explore! The people in the  few cars you might pass while you meander around will usually wave hello. If you see people picking up their mail stop and talk to them. Several of the people who live on Hatchet Ranch have Google Alerts set up to see who is writing what about their neighborhood (hi all!)

The Fair Housing Act is a federal act in the United States intended to protect the buyer or renter of a dwelling from seller or landlord discrimination. Its primary prohibition makes it unlawful to refuse to sell, rent to, or negotiate with any person because of that person’s inclusion in a protected class.
