Arkansas River in Canon City Colorado

The Arkansas river is in the center of Canon City, or rather, Canon City surrounds the Arkansas River. I went down to the pedestrian bridge just past 4th street and highway 50 to hopefully see some rafters. I was either to early or to late to see any rafters.  As you can see the river is very, very high right now.  So I thought I’d share the river with you rafters or not.  This year the Colorado Rockies had some great snow pack.
