The Old West in Penrose Colorado

Penrose Colorado Stage StopThe Old West in Penrose Colorado

If you are driving to fast down highway #50 between Pueblo West and Canon City you could miss a little taste of the old west. There are two old stage stops along Beaver Creek. Long closed up and dilapidated, they are still interesting to explore. If you listen carefully to some of the old timers around they will tell you ghost stories and tales passed on from ancestors from the area. But hopefully from this picture you can get a small taste of what it was like to travel up until the 1920’s by stage coach.
