True Story : My dripping GPS

True Story:

Today I went to preview a listing in Florence Colorado. Dispite the fact my GPS wanted me drive to the wrong side of town I found the house. Upon entering this gorgeous completely remodeled, re carpeted, re painted, staged property I could hear the soft sound of running water.  I thought the house was so well staged that it was arranged with music. With in a few steps I found the truth. The main floor bathroom had a broken pipe under the sink. The  new soft spungie carpet had a little extra bonus because it was ‘floating’ above the sub flooring.

The listing agent was prompt on the phone and the owner only lived around the corner. Upon further investagtion we found the basement with about 4 inches of water. Apparently the pipe had been broken for days. And I’m glad I gave up on my GPS and used my common sense to find the house.
